ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 7, 2024 ರಂದು ಜಪಾನಿನ ಫ್ರಾಂಟಿಯರ್ ರಿಸರ್ಚ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಫಾರ್ ಅಡ್ವಾನ್ಸ್ಡ್ ಮೆಟೀರಿಯಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಲೈಫ್ ಹೊಕ್ಕೈಡೋ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಡ್ವಾನ್ಸ್ಡ್ ಕೆಮಿಕಲ್ ಬಯಾಲಜಿ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ "ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಅಣುಗಳು: ಡ್ರಗ್ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಗತಿ" ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹೊಕ್ಕೈಡೋ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರೊ.ಕೆ.ಎಸ್.ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಹೊಕ್ಕೈಡೋ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರೊ.ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಇಟಲಿಯ ದಿ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಆಫ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ (FTWAS) ನ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು (ಡಿಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ವಿಷ್ಡ್‌ ಫೆಲೋ) , ಇದು ಮಲ್ಟಿ ಡಿಸಿಪ್ಲಿನೇರಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಹಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೊ.ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಆಲ್ಝೈಮರ್, ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್, ಮತ್ತು ಹೃದಯರಕ್ತನಾಳದ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಧುಮೇಹದಂತಹ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಔಷಧ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವರು.

Prof.Rangappa is also delivering a special lecture at Department of Pathobiochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Meijo University, Nagoya on 9th September 2024. He is going to interact with various deans, professors and directors of the University.
During the deliberations, as an Ambassador of Hokkaido University, Prof.K.S.Rangappa will have various scientific discussions including collaborations related to research between Hokkaido University and Universities in India and particularly Institutions and Universities in Karnataka.
It is also observed that Prof.Rangappa is a distinguished fellow of the The World Academy of Sciences (FTWAS), Italy. The Academy insists to motivate the international collaboration on multidisciplinary research. Prof.Rangappa involves in discussion about drug development on various diseases like Alzheimer, Cancer, and Diabetes including cardiovascular diseases.
