ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,27,2024 (www.justkannada.in): ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳ ಆತ್ಮನಿರ್ಭರ್ ಭಾರತ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೆಕ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂಜೀವಿನಿಯಂತೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಭಾರೀ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಕ್ಕು ಖಾತೆ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ.ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಾರತ್ ಹೆವಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕಲ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ (BHEL)ನ ವಿದ್ಯುನ್ಮಾನ ಘಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ವೇಳೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಜತೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ದೇಶದ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳು ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ನಿಕಟವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಯಕಲ್ಪ ನೀಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

BHEL ಗೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಶಕ್ತಿ:

ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಖರ ಗುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಮೂರನೇ ಬೃಹತ್ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಲು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಅವರ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಕನಸಿನ ಮೆಕ್ ಇನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಆತ್ಮನಿರ್ಭರ್ ಭಾರತ್ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಆಗಿವೆ. ಇದೇ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ್ ಹೆವಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸಶಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ದೇಶದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ BHEL ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಸರು, ಸರ್ ಎಂ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಅನೇಕ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇಂಥ ಸವಾಲಿನ ನಡುವೆಯೂ BHEL ಲಾಭದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸಂತಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ BHEL ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ, ಥರ್ಮಲ್ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.40ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕಂಪನಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆ, ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಂಪನಿ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅನನ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು, ಲಾಭ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಯಾಕೆ?

BHEL ಕಂಪನಿಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ ಲಾಭ ಅಷ್ಟು ತೃಪ್ತಿದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದ  ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ,  ನೀವು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಎಚ್ಚರ ತಪ್ಪಿದರೂ ಅಪಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹೊಣೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮೆಕ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ, ಆತ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಭರ್ ಭಾರತ್ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ BHEL ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಂಥ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಮರೆಯುವುದು ಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ನವದೆಹಲಿಯ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಆಗುಹೋಗುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಂಪನಿ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕುಶಲತೆಯಿಂದ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಇದು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದವು. ಹೆಚ್ಎಂಟಿ, ಬೆಮೆಲ್, ಐಟಿಐ, ಹೆಚ್ ಎ ಎಲ್, ಬಿಇಎಲ್, ಬಿಇಎಂಎಲ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ನಷ್ಟದ ಹಾದಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿವೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ BHELಗೆ ಬರುವುದು ಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿಕೆ ಆಶಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಘಟಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಖುದ್ದು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಜತೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿ ಅವರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶ್ಯಾಂ ಬಾಬು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು.

Bengaluru: Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, underscored the critical role of the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ initiatives, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in bolstering the industrial sector. The Minister expressed these views during his visit to the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Electronics Division, located on Mysuru Road in Bengaluru.

During discussions with senior officials and employees, the Minister lauded the Prime Minister’s decisive steps towards national development, emphasizing the continuous review and consideration of measures aimed at revitalizing public sector enterprises.

Strengthening BHEL:

The Minister affirmed that the Prime Minister’s vision is clear and ambitious—to position India as the world’s third-largest economy by enhancing industrial production. He noted that the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives have been instrumental in this endeavor. Shri Kumaraswamy highlighted ongoing efforts to further strengthen BHEL under these national initiatives.

Shri Kumaraswamy praised BHEL as a well-performing public sector enterprise, acknowledging its foundational contributions to the nation’s industrial sector, a legacy initiated by the foresight of the Mysuru Maharajas and Sir M. Visvesvaraya. Despite challenges, BHEL continues to operate profitably, with significant contributions to the power sector, where it holds over 40% market share in the thermal power segment, as well as to the Indian Army and the space sector.

Addressing Profitability Concerns:

While recognizing BHEL’s receipt of substantial orders, the Minister expressed concern over the company’s profit margins, emphasizing the importance of vigilant management to avoid potential risks. He urged officials and employees to ensure the company’s continued financial health, highlighting the impact of the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives in driving BHEL’s success amidst technological advancements.

The Minister also referenced several review meetings held in New Delhi to assess the company’s performance, commending BHEL’s strong management, skilled workforce, and technical expertise. He expressed hope that BHEL would continue to thrive, avoiding the financial difficulties faced by other historic industries in Bengaluru, such as HMT, BEML, ITI, HAL, and BEL.

During his visit, Shri Kumaraswamy inspected various divisions of the unit, reviewed ongoing activities, and engaged with senior officials and workers to understand their concerns and aspirations. The visit was attended by Shri Shyam Babu, Executive Director of the unit, and other senior officials. The Minister was also honored by employees from different divisions.
